TAG-ALONG was born after a number of safaris done by Alexander Rostocil and his friends and clients. People would always ask Alex if they could tag-along and experience what he has been lucky to see over years and years of extensive travel through not only Kenya but Africa as well. Hence TAG-ALONG was born and started in the beginning of 2011.

TAG-ALONG is a small personally run outfit and will have around 8 fixed safaris throughout the year which will take 6 nights at a time. The itinerary will change every year so as to cover many areas in Kenya and in the future further afield. We have finalized the 2012 itinerary and are already working on the 2013 itinerary. TAG-ALONG will operate only during school holidays giving families an opportunity to spend quality time together in the wilderness away from the hustle and bustle of city life. TAG-ALONG has been started to provide awareness of our environment and to teach one about the importance of conservation and preserving our natural heritage no matter what their age may be.

Our mission is to provide families from all walks of life living in Kenya an opportunity to see the country in their own vehicles with their own equipment, during the school holidays. Many people living in Kenya stick to the main traffic congested roads on a daily basis going to work/school and back. Why should you do it on your holidays? Explore the country on back roads, seeing places that one never knew existed yet they are so close. Our mission is to teach both the adults and children about the flora and fauna that surrounds one on a daily basis. Our mission is to teach you how to use your 4x4 and how to be aware of the delicate environment we live in and to conserve it making us all conservationists so that Kenya remains. Last but not least our mission is to explore the bush, meet new people having fun doing it.
